7. Better behave! Dummy cameras are watching.
Fake security cameras are popping up all over urban areas. Apparently, they force citizens to obey while threatening the possibility of exposure. Not quite sure how to feel? You’re not alone.
8. The blue hue is actually a clue.
Night clubs, bars, and even some restaurants are opting for navy lighting in restrooms. The color wards off drug users making it difficult to find a vein for injection.
9. Mosquito devices aren’t actually annoying the bugs … at all.
Some cities control inhabitants with high-pitched sounds. Teenagers and young kids are especially targeted. The annoying sound is blasted through speakers outside popular storefronts, discouraging loitering and fighting.
10. “Pig ear” anyone?
Certain cities control anything on a wheel with these clever contraptions. Decorating nearly every walkway nowadays, these metal “hooks” force citizens to “learn the hard way.”
